Air Station San Diego Patch

Air Station San Diego Patch — Coast Guard Guardians of the Southern California Coast

Air Station San Diego's Coast Guard crews patrol one of the busiest coastlines in America — saving lives around the clock.

U.S. Coast Guard Air Station San Diego provides search and rescue, law enforcement, homeland security, and environmental protection aviation capabilities along the Southern California coastline. Coast Guard aviators and flight crews launch on missions ranging from maritime search and rescue operations to counter-narcotics patrols and port security overflights. San Diego's position near the U.S.-Mexico border and its heavy commercial and recreational maritime traffic make the air station's mission particularly demanding and diverse. The men and women of Air Station San Diego embody the Coast Guard's motto: Semper Paratus — Always Ready.

Perfect For: Coast Guard Air Station San Diego personnel, USCG aviators, Southern California Coast Guard members, maritime search and rescue professionals, and Coast Guard patch collectors.
